{"id":1,"date":"2009-01-30T22:09:46","date_gmt":"2009-01-31T04:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arcanasphere.com\/blog\/?p=1"},"modified":"2009-01-31T07:12:56","modified_gmt":"2009-01-31T07:12:56","slug":"hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arcanasphere.com\/blog\/2009\/01\/hello-world\/","title":{"rendered":"The New Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have honestly been meaning to set this up for some time.<\/p>\n<p>This is being typed at nearly 1am, after the first three hours or so of honest work have gone into the blog.\u00a0 It looks like hell right now, with an ugly blue image on the top of the page that says &#8220;Spacer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So here&#8217;s where I am right now.\u00a0 A year ago I was freelancing in a job that worked me hard, tore into every weakness I had, and taught me a lot about myself.\u00a0 I loved it.\u00a0 I miss it.<\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m working on several projects at once.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I want to be a published fantasy author.\u00a0 By 2010, I will either make this happen or make a life-sized paper mach\u00e9 building-stomping monster out of my rejection letters.<\/li>\n<li>I am self-publishing a fantasy fiction podcast.\u00a0 I feel as though I wrote up some characters that I would like to know more about, but did not do so well writing a story I would want to read.\u00a0 This is, of course, why I am self-publishing the podcast.\u00a0 I wanted to make my mistakes by actually <em>doing something<\/em>.\u00a0 This is how I will learn not to just write characters next time.<\/li>\n<li>My brother is in Michigan.\u00a0 We are pushing each other to learn card magic.\u00a0 It&#8217;s getting really interesting.<\/li>\n<li>I am working on music which I wish to enter into the Creative Commons on basically an attribution license.\u00a0 I see so many talented people on YouTube who feel like they need to hide behind well known music.\u00a0 It saddens me.\u00a0 I&#8217;m working on a solution.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m trying to make this blog look like it doesn&#8217;t suck, so that it lessens the blow of the content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am also very tired.\u00a0 It&#8217;s 1am now.\u00a0 I have not slept more than 6 hours in one night in the last week.\u00a0 Most have been closer to 4 or 5 hours.\u00a0 Tomorrow I take some pictures of myself or get the wife to do it.\u00a0 Then I work on transferring the images off of my laptop to be used on this site.\u00a0 Tonight I got this thing running, laid out roughly how I want it to be, and made a place for the advertising to run.<\/p>\n<p>The blog can look pretty tomorrow.\u00a0 It&#8217;s bed time right now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s where I am right now.
